GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Downtown Gloversville online photo contest winner has been announced! Garnering 236 likes on Facebook, Paula Brown-Weinstock's photo of a sunset over Fulton Street took home the top spot. "There were thirteen entries posted on Facebook, and FB users liked their favorite image from March 20 to March 30."Brown-Weinstock was awarded a gift certificate to Craving's Bakery & Cafe. New York State Police Troop E out of Canandaigua issued a warning that a phone scam is making rounds through the Troop E area (which includes the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes) in which the scammer pretends to be a State Trooper. WATERFORD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Monday, the Waterford Police Department arrested two individuals following a pursuit on foot. The car fled the police and crashed in Troy. The two occupants then fled on foot but were apprehended. Police say one of the suspects, Michael A. Rouse of Troy, was found to have two fully-loaded 9mm handguns. DUANESBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person was hospitalized after a car crash involving a fire truck on I-88 in Duanesburg Wednesday night. The crash happened around 10:18 p.m., and state police say the fire truck was not in service or operating in an emergency at the time and was in transport for delivery. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A deadly crash has led to traffic backups Thursday morning on Interstate 70 near Jennings. Crews are working to clear the scene of the crash, which has traffic stalled in eastbound direction. The crash happened near Jennings Station Road before 10:30 a.m. MoDOT reports all eastbound lanes are blocked near Jennings Station Road. Drivers are backed up several miles, some almost all the way to Lambert Airport. Traffic is also slowed down in the westbound lanes amid the response. Top Story: Five people in one trailer died when a tornado sucked it away The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the crash leading to the traffic tie-ups, though it's unclear how many people died or what led up to the crash.
